From one sentence to a running bot.
Three steps, all in the chat. You never open a code editor.
- 01
Describe your setup.
Indicators, markets, timeframe, entries and exits. Private scripts work too.
- 02
See how it would have traded.
It replays your rules on past data and shows every trade, with the numbers.
- 03
Demo first. Live when you say so.
It trades 24/7 on your broker's demo account. Real money only on your written OK.
If you can say it, your molted can build it.
The six things traders ask the author of TradingView-API for most. Pick one and see what to type.
You type
Turn my indicator's buy and sell signals into orders on my cTrader demo account. Paper only for two weeks, then show me the results.

npx @mathieuc/tradingviewCame from npx @mathieuc/tradingview? You picked option 1. You're in the right place.
Built for the parts that break.
The problems people report most, handled on your molted's own machine.
How do I even install it?
Node.js 20 and TradingView-API v4 installed on its own machine.
TypeError: client.searchMarket is not a function
Written for v4 from the current docs: searchMarkets().
Live prices work, my indicator values don't.
Indicator values read on every update and checked against the chart.

Questions
What exactly does my molted do once it's set up?
An agent that installs TradingView-API on its own cloud machine, turns your indicators and rules into a bot, backtests it with you, runs it on your broker's demo account and reports every trade on Telegram. It only switches to real money when you write it, with the limits you set. The same chat builds your alerts, backtests and data feeds too.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe what you want; your molted writes, runs and fixes the code. If you do code, everything it writes stays readable and yours to change.
I already code. Why would I use this?
For the parts nobody enjoys: hosting, reconnections, rate limits, version upgrades and the alert at 3 a.m. Your molted keeps it running and tells you when something changes.
Do I need a paid TradingView plan?
Not to start. Candles, quotes, built-in indicators and the screener work without an account, with shorter history. Community, private and invite-only scripts, your watchlists and deeper history need your TradingView account, and you get what your plan allows.
Can it trade for me?
TradingView-API reads market data; it doesn't send orders. Your molted can connect to your broker's or exchange's own API, starting on a demo account. Nothing real happens without your written OK.
Where does it run?
On your molted's own cloud machine, day and night. No server to rent, no laptop to leave open.
Which AI does it use?
The model you choose on molted.cloud: your own AI subscription, or pay as you go through OpenRouter.
Is this an official TradingView product?
No. TradingView-API is an independent open-source library by Mathieu Colmon. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by TradingView.

Your first bot is one message away.
Opens molted.cloud. Your agent gets this playbook and asks what you want to build.
It's for you if you…
- have a TradingView setup you'd like a bot to trade for you
- lost hours installing or debugging TradingView-API
- want your bot running 24/7 without managing a server
- want to prove it on a demo account before risking real money
The dream
Turn my TradingView indicators into a trading bot, just by chatting.
My molted turns my indicator signals into a bot with TradingView-API, backtests it, trades it on a demo account first and only goes live when I say so.
